League Challenge Cup Rnd 1

Wolstanton go into the next round at the expense of Ball Haye Green thanks to a single first half goal from Peter Ford.

Bourne Sports Trophy Rnd 1

Goalkeeper Keith Wintle opened for Alsagers Bank at home to Real Macot when a shot from his area went over the visitor's keeper and into the net. Dean Beardmore and Lee Shepherd followed before Kafeel Ahmed pulled a goal back on half time. After the break Rob Dawson added a forth for Bank and Mark Williams scored twice to bring the tally to six.


After a goal less first half Steven Pustkowski scored on 79 min for Audley, Liam Jones-Mansuetto equalised from the spot for Wolstanton on 89min to force extra time. Audley went ahead on 102 with a goal from Andy Aaron and a second Jones - Mansuetto penalty on 108 forced the decision to penalties. Audley take their place in the next round scoring 4 to Wolstantons 2.


Ball Green Y&A needed extra time to decide their game against Foley after drawing 1 – 1 after 90 min it ended 3 – 2. Steven Churchill, Craig Jones and James McLean scoring for Ball Green, with two goals from Glen James for Foley.
Extra time was needed at Biddulph to decide their game against Florence with scores level at half and full time. Florence go into the next round scoring five; two each for John Hancock and Matt Gibson and a single from Chris Machin, with Four in reply from Biddulph; Rob Minton, Julian Wetherall and two from Carl Downs.
Mark Barnett opened in the first five minutes for Chesterton against Barton who equalised through Adam Goode before the break. Nathan Rowley put Chesterton ahead after the break with James Barton levelling. Richard Lindsay scored the winner from the spot on 87min for Barton to go into the next round.
Manor Inne scored three without reply at home to Ball Haye Green, two through John Finney and a single from Keith Harrison.
Six goals for Sandbach; two from Phil Smith and a goal each from Pete Barrow, Nathan Mulrooney and Chris Jackson secured them a place in the next round with a single John Sneath goal in reply from visitors Unity.
Cheadle eliminated Sandbach U21s scoring five without reply; two each for Dan Brunt and Alvin Beardmore with a single from Tom Hodgkinson.
Without eight key players Screwfix crashed out of the competition to Northwood with an eight one defeat. Konrad Wal scoring the only goal for Screwfix.
A goal from Hanley Town three minutes into injury time took them into the next round at the expense of Stone OA.

AFC Waterhayes were 3 – 1 up to Redgate on the hour but were level after 90min with three goals each. A Scott O’Brien hat trick bringing Redgate back into the game. Chris Hackney and Danny Boote (2) scoring for Waterhayes. A penalty in the second period of extra time for Redgate was initially saved but the referee ordered it be retaken and Matt Barlow scored to give them a place in the next round.

Premier

A goal from Darren Fearns and an OG gave Abbey Hulton the lead into the break at home to Ashbourne. Dave Moon scored twice for the visitors (60 & 70min) but saw Danny Timmis score from the spot on 85 min to give abbey the points.
Barlaston failed to score at home to Newcastle Town who struck six; Otis Fox and Carl Miller with two each along with singles from Danny Cartilege and Daryl Walker.
Visitors Alsager opened on 33 min at Eccleshall through Jimmy McArthy, Aaron Rigby added two more on 75 & 88 min without reply.
Danny Malbon opened for Stallington at Foley giving them the lead into the break. Two goals each from Steve Day and Ryan Myskiel turned the game in Foleys favour in the second half.
Goldenhill and Florence scored eleven goals between them with the winner got for Goldenhill completed a hat trick for Chris Wood in the last minute, Godfrey Johnson also netted a hat trick with M Ellis, D Viggars and two from L Poxon making the score sheet for Florence.
Visitors Congleton Vale had a thoroughly deserved win at Hanley Town scoring three without reply. James Spencer opened on eight minutes and 55min and the goal of the match came on 70 min from Craig Caddy.
Redgate opened at home to Norton on 38in through Phil Mason. Richard Penny added a second on 42min. Norton failed to score.

Division 1

Jude Clarke scored the only goal of the game for Featherstone against Holt.
Mike Gunn gave Newcastle the lead into the break at home to Hawkins but four second half goals gave the visitors the points; Greg Machin, Chris Fowler, Tom Lowe and Garth Birks each scoring a goal.
Stretton and Lichfield scored two apiece to share the points. Brittain and Gaynor scoring for Stretton and Townsend and Monaghan for Lichfield.

Division 2

Longton Harriers scored three at home to Abbey Hulton without reply; Thomas Bentley, George Barlow and an OG.
